We are a private middle and high school with a focus on education of the individual.
All students are evaluated individually before placement in classes to insure that students are in the class that meets their needs and insures their success. We are fully accredited by SACS, AdvancEd, AISF, NCPSA, and MSA.

How long have you been in business?
Allison Academy was founded as a response to parental needs of students who were enrolled in the Reading, Math & Learning Center in 1983. It was initially housed in the Learning Center, and was only able to accommodate 15 students, We moved to a larger location in 1994 and have grown the school to 110 students.
What is your primary product or service?
Education of students in grades 6 through 12 with a focus on meeting the individual needs of the whole student in a positive environment.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As an education major, I was committed and prepared to educate students..
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We offer a personalized education in which we evaluate and place students in classes according to their needs. We have small classes and individual attention when needed.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?

We are conveniently located at 1881 NE 164 Street, in N. Miami Beach, FL. We are one block north of the main east-west 836/163rd Street, two blocks west of Biscayne Blvd. and 2 blocks east of the 163rd Street Mall and Walmart.
What type of payments do you accept?
Checks, credit cards, and cash payments.
Which areas do you service?
Our students come from Aventura, N. Miami Beach, Miami Beach, Miami Shores, the City of Miami, Hollywood, and Miami Lakes.

What are your hours of operation?
We are open from 8 A.M. to 6 P.M. Regular classes end at 3:05 P.M. followed by our after school activities, including art club, chess club, scrabble club, basketball (in season), and band. A guided study program for students who need motivation and assistance in completing homework is provided after school until 5:15 p.m. We also have a tutoring program for our students who need extra academic work, and for students from other schools who attend hour long tutoring sesions.

We are dedicated educators who are committed to provide the best possible education to ALL of our students to help them develop their abilities and talents to achieve success in their adult lives. Our motto: Where every student is important.
