Lava Studio is a turnkey creative boutique for live production, animation, and visual effects.
Lava Studio is a creative boutique combining live production with animation and visual effects. Lava was founded in Miami in 1999 by Robert Kirkpatrick, a two-time Emmy Award winner, and five-time nominee for Graphic Design. Lava has made its mark on countless commercials, including recent productions for The Florida Lottery, Johnny Rockets, and Volkswagen. We have 15 feature film credits, and have created groundbreaking visuals for networks of all descriptions, including MLB Network, NBC, Discovery, Animal Planet, and DIRECTV. Lava’s work has received numerous Addy Awards, as well as Promax and BDA Awards for Design. Lava’s unique and spacious studio is located in the heart of Miami’s vibrant broadcast community.
