How long have you been in business?
We our proud to announce the Grand Opening of our new business "Screen Enclosure Designs" recently opened this year, June 2009. Our Engineer,is also the Owner and has been building Screen Enclosures for over 5 Years and has ventured to open a "Web" business and initiate Marketing Campaign.
What is your primary product or service?
We custom build, install and REPAIR enclosures for Pools, Patios, Porches, Terraces and Balconies. We build Screen Houses, Aluminum roofs and Carports. We offer a variety of Screen Repair Services. From Pet to Privacy to "No see Um" screens. NO job is considered too small.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I majored in Mechanical ENGINEERING in cuba. I came to the United States to with the entrepreneur spirit and Love Mechanical Engineering. I landed a skilled labor position repairing and installing screen panels and building screen enclosures for a medium size Screen Company. It was there I learned the trade and have build a variety of Enclosures. I braced myself and opened my own company "Kenny Screen Specialist" and when the hurricanes Katrina, Wilma, and Rita hit South Florida my reputation, experience and work sky-rocketed in my trade and has taken me to where I am today. I am grateful to be in America and succeeding the American Way.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Being a smaller enterprise, I am able to keep my overhead and administration costs low which in turn allows me to offer affordable prices to work with my customers. I only take on Projects that I can do within two weeks, I do not like to keep my customers waiting. Commercial Jobs I have done are certified by reputable General contractors and Engineers and also scheduled to meet their time demands and structure. It makes a difference in performance and reputation to always keep those things in mind.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I have one location for now and if things continue as they are I will probably expand the administration to handle my new business through website and referrals.

My suggestion is to use Google Maps or Mapquest.com. Our office is centrally located in Miami, Florida.
What type of payments do you accept?
We have credit card facility and accept checks, and CASH.
Which areas do you service?
Miami-Dade, Broward, West Palm Beach, Monroe County.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
My name is Hunny Palacios. I am Owner. I go by my nickname or middle name "Kenny" since my name "HunnY" in English is misunderstood. My Wife, Lourdes, is Operations Manager. Her background is Accountant for International Heavy Construction & Equipment company based in Miami, Florida with Headquarters in Belgium.
What are your hours of operation?
Mon to Fri 8:00AM to 6:00PM Sat: 8:00AM TO 6:00PM Sun: 8:00AM TO 12:00PM
