VIBROSTAGE is a platform that converts sounds into vibrations for educational, therapeutic and recreational use. This modern technology works successfully with the deaf and hard of hearing and also with those who suffer from autism or other emotional attention disorder. This equipment is an innovating acoustic system installed on a platform that convert the sound injected from any source of audio equipment or percussion instrument into vibrations throughout the platform that can be felt by the student or individual standing on it without shoes. We used to our advantage, the theory thatthe sound is not only easily transmitted through solid objects, but the sound waves increases as they are adding on each other.
With the use of this platform the deaf and hard of hearing community will be able to dance, to perform and play with percussion instruments and feel all of it through their feet. The flow of vibrations will then travel through the central nervous system into the brain allowing them to enjoy the sound. Additional way, VIBROSTAGE can be use are to enjoy video games for example; (TABLET, IPAD, PC, PLAYSTATION, XBOX, WII, NINTENDO) and experience the sound from the game as well as watch an ASL music video or ordinary video and feel the rhythmic vibrations from the music.
