How long have you been in business?
Stuart Newman Associates was founded in 1946 in Miami by Stuart G. Newman upon his return from serving in World War II. We rebranded the company to NewmanPR several years ago.
What is your primary product or service?
We are a full-service public relations marketing company, providing a wide variety of services to clients. From desktop publishing to editorial services, crisis communication, photography and videography, marketing counsel and social media, we help our clients tell their stories effectively to the news media as well as directly to consumers.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our upper management all have experience as journalists and all of our employees hold degrees in communications or related disciplines.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a boutique agency specializing in the leisure travel, cruise and maritime industries, though we also have represented clients in the arts, new media and real estate.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have one main office in Coconut Grove, Fla., with two part-time stringers in the Upper Florida Keys and Key West. Agency president maintains a home in Islamorada. We have no plans to expand facilities at this time.

Going north on Dixie Highway (U.S. Hwy. 1), turn right into the first parking lot after passing the intersection of Dixie and 22nd Avenue. Going south on Dixie, make a U-turn at the light at 22nd Avenue and turn immediately into the first parking lot. Our offices are on the second floor of the Accord Productions building.

We work on a monthly retainer, retainer-against-hours or project-fee basis.

The company is wholly owned by Andrew Newman.
What are your hours of operation?
8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
However, for our clients we are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days per year.
